Harz mountains

Anybody had any experience of the area. I have been looking at the Biker hotel harz, Hotel harmonie at Bad grund. Has anyone done that region? :)

Yes and it's absolutely brilliant  :) :) :) :) that's both the area for some cracking roads and rides but also the B&B which is very biker friendly.

Simon has a really good B&B and as he is a biker knows some really great roads in the area and can be persuaded to take you out on rides.

Highly recommend the area and the hotel - can't wait to go back there again

that looks superb and is definitely on my wish list...in fact I'll definitely be discussing this place with my mate who is good (read far better than me) at planning these trips

Fantastic area, good roads and many B&B's.....

Bad Grund is a "dull small city" - but Simon has a good place though! No evening dinner possible.....
I would recommend the City Kelbra - near to Kyffhäuser - and go for Hotel Kaiserhof. Thats really good!!
