MGvalerio,

Thank you, I would appreciate your help. The pictures below show the mount I used. The third picture shows two brackets, I originally used the one on the left, but swapping to the one on the right makes things slightly better. Still quite shaky though, but of course this is a race bike with hard suspension.

Qualche suggerimento su come migliorare questo?

Martin.

The base does not horizontally but vertically, by eliminating the arm between the base and GO-PRO ... then put silicone removing the core group composed of female and male anchor the base of the GO-PRO.Il silicone even when it is dried easy to remove.

Another solution is to be made of this one, but chiselled mulling the male, however, see the movie.

..... did mount with suction cup arm removed, using the male attack the base with adhesive.
With aims to 5mm wood drill horizontally male base at the widest point which is almost half the male, then the hole must be made of threaded male base 6mm.la is then cut almost in half.
Be very careful to drill the male .. starting with the tip of 3mm.

MGValerio,

Grazie, che è molto utile. Alcune grandi idee lì.

@Nok, I use an application called Dashware - http://www.dashware.net/ - costs about £36 after the trial period, but is a truly magnificent piece of software. Only really worth getting if you have some datalogging data to synchronise with the video, Windows Live Movie Maker (standard Win7 program) works fine for editing etc.

@cpettifer, yes, I have tried helmet mounting though only a fairly simple experiment. Mounted like the photo below produces this video. This is in portrait rather than landscape, and the sound is not great, but I think with a little more experimentation, it could work.

65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.

Ziderman

I drilled couple small holes in base plate & self taped mine to top mirror unit. Works brilliant. Don't trust sticky pads for one moment.
We use the go pros for kite surfing with stunning results.

The sticky pads really are brilliant, 125mph with sticky pad on headlight no problem.  Similarly with helmet.

Of course it's a personal "view" but I much prefer landscape although portrait does have a certain.........
Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

Lonewolf

I never had any issue with the sticky pads, suppose its un-natural to put that much faith in a piece of adhesive which is approx 2" square but providing the surface is clean initially it'll be fine.

Mogster

3m's dura lock.... stuff tis the bollox  :gunsmilie:
She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!

Questo credo sia il massimo delle riprese video.

The only stickers I ever had were slightly convex...so as useless as an Ash tray on a motor Bike.
On the water I use a safety leash as head strap can get knocked off you head....they dont float...
I have to send my films to my one my sons at Soton uni as down load speeds so crap around here. So not posted anything yet.

Rusty

Not that I have done it but I thought Mr Wolf had the right idea ... cable tie it to the mirror .. no sticky pads or drilling holes  :agree:
Ps ... was watching some Go Pro footage on You Tube earlier ... sky diving over Dubai ... fantastic stuff ... the quality and colours are just awesome.

Another GoPro mounting suggestion for those days when you need more that a GTR buzz
